Ryoya Tosaka
Studied at the University of Tokyo, co-founded an education startup while still a student, then worked in corporate strategy and new business at a Tokyo venture, reporting directly to the CEO. He later passed two of Japan's national professional examinations — gyoseishoshi (certified administrative scrivener) and SME management consultant — in a single six-month run of self-study, and opened his own practice in 2026.
At Asunaro Create he directs software and AI projects and designs plans that make use of Japan's public support programs. He works in English — meetings, email, and contracts included.
Head of a long-established Kyoto company
Our second director has spent more than thirty years in Kyoto's traditional industries and heads a company with a long history of its own. He brings what no textbook does: the working reality of running a small business in Japan — suppliers, seasons, banks, and all. His role at Asunaro Create is to keep our advice honest to that reality.
On licenses: the gyoseishoshi and SME-consultant licenses belong to Ryoya Tosaka personally and are separate from the company's services. The company's funding support covers management advice and planning. Where a procedure legally requires a licensed professional, we say so clearly.
CompanyFacts
Our name comes from the asunaro tree — in Japanese lore, the tree that says "tomorrow, I will become a cypress." We liked the honesty of that ambition.
